The Platner Side Chair was introduced in 1962, complete with tables, coffé tables and stools.
It took the American architect Warren Platner ten years of studies and attempts to come to terms with such complex structures: the result is amazing for its grace and lightness... at the same time structure and ornament.
"I wanted to get a chair complementary to the person sitting and the space between the wall and the chair": in line with the Knoll idea on modern furniture as a complement to the space

The structure of the Platner Side Chair is made with thin metal rods, shaped vertically and horizontally, treated in different finishes, completed with transparent protection:

- Burnishing. 
- 14K gold plated.
- Black paint (other colours per quantity). 
- Galvanised and black painted for the exterior (click).
- Chrome plating (on request).

The cushion and seat of the Platner Side Chair are made of polyurethane covered in fabric, leather or synthetic leather (click colours).

On request also table with float glass top 15 mm with bevel edge, diameter 135 cm, 150 cm, stool diameter 44 cm, h. 55 cm and coffé table diameter 44 cm, h. 40 cm with marble top.
