Florence Knoll had a great impact on the evolution of modern furniture as an entrepreneur, directing the work of architects such as Eero Saarinen, Mies Van der Rohe, Marcel Breur, Harry Bertoia, Isamu Noguchi, and as a designer with her ingenious creations.
Florence Knoll proposes a precise aesthetic recognizable as the "Knoll look", an americanized rationalism of unostentatious elegance that she describes as the "Bauhaus approach".

Florence Table with laminated top, designed by Florence Knoll, has chromed base that consists of four aluminum spokes and steel with a central steel column.
The MDF top is 2,5 cm. thick and is beveled edge finished; it is white or black "liquid laminate" laquered (a hard lacquer with scratch-proof and spot-proof characteristics). The top rest on a Mdf under-top able to join top and base, to be fixed by means of screws.
